The Purchasing Engineer will be responsible for managing the purchasing processes, planning purchases, and handling purchase orders. The daily tasks will include conducting market research to identify potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, ensuring delivery schedules are met, and maintaining relationships with existing suppliers. Additionally, the Purchasing Engineer will work to optimize procurement costs and ensure quality standards are upheld. Qualifications Proficient in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Planning Experience with handling and processing Purchase Orders Strong Analytical Skills for efficient procurement and market analysis Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is preferred Experience in the metals industry is a plus
