Tool Room Supervisor sheet metal die

• The Tool Room Supervisor will be responsible for managing tool room activities related to sheet metal dies, jigs, and fixtures. This role involves supervising die maintenance, new die development, troubleshooting during production, and ensuring timely availability of tools to support smooth manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily tool room operations including die assembly, repair, and maintenance.
• Plan and schedule preventive and breakdown maintenance of sheet metal dies.
• Ensure availability of dies, jigs, and fixtures to meet production requirements.
• Troubleshoot tool-related issues during stamping/press operations.
• Guide toolmakers in machining, fitting, and die setting activities.
• Monitor tool life, wear, and performance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure adherence to drawing specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and design departments for tool-related improvements.
• Manage inventory of tool room spares, cutting tools, and consumables.
• Prepare tool history cards, maintenance records, and MIS reports.
