Title Searcher - US Mortgage

Role Overview: As a Title Searcher for US Mortgage with a minimum of 1 year of experience, you will be responsible for conducting thorough title searches using various title plants and databases to produce accurate and comprehensive property reports. Your role will require a deep understanding of title search procedures, legal documentation, and property records to ensure the integrity of search results. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed title searches using platforms such as DataTrace, TitlePoint, DataTree, Netronline, and other title plants. - Retrieve and examine property-related documents including deeds, mortgages, liens, tax records, and court filings. - Analyze chains of title to verify accuracy and identify potential issues, discrepancies, or encumbrances. - Review and interpret legal documents to determine the status of property titles. - Prepare and deliver complete and accurate search packages, including a written summary of findings. - Maintain consistency in performance while adapting to evolving processes and priorities. Qualification Required: - Graduate in any discipline - Solid understanding of the title insurance and mortgage processes. - Proficient in using title search platforms such as TitlePoint, DataTrace/Tree, Netronline, etc. - Ability to read and interpret legal documents, including deeds, liens, judgments, and encumbrances. - Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. - Adaptable, reliable, and able to work independently under deadlines. Additional Details: The Title Searcher position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in title searching, specifically in Current Owner, Two Owner & Full Owner, Examination.
