Role Overview: As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring the quality of civil construction and developing standards and processes to maintain or improve quality. Your role will involve ensuring that construction projects comply with plans and specifications, meeting or exceeding required qualities, and maintaining acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship. Key Responsibilities: - Monitoring and administering the QA/QC Plan or Programme to ensure materials used in construction projects comply with plans and specifications. - Assuring that the work is performed as per contract requirements and meets or exceeds quality standards. - Assisting the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer in tasks such as steel reinforcement checking based on construction drawings. - Issuing materials receiving reports for delivered materials. - Following up on concreting works in the presence of the Engineer or Consultant, conducting slump tests, and preparing cubes for compressive tests. - Following and maintaining Company standards of Quality in alignment with Company Quality System requirements. Qualifications Required: - Adequate experience in conducting quality tests on Soil and Concrete. - Ability to independently handle quality labs at the site. - Experience in all types of earthworks, roadworks, and civil structures. - Highly organized and detailed with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.,
