We are looking for a Sustainability & Plantation Manager who is passionate about nature, driven by results, and ready to make history with us. The Role (What you will do) - Lead plantation of 1,00,000+ saplings annually and grow tree cover to 11 lakh trees. - Design and oversee soil enrichment, water management, and tree growth cycles. - Ensure sustainable rotational felling that protects the environment. - Build and manage a field team with high survival and productivity rates. - Report plantation progress to estate leadership with data-driven insights. Key Results Expected (KRA – 12–24 months) - Achieve 90%+ survival rate of planted saplings. - Ensure 1 lakh+ saplings planted each year as per plan. - Develop and execute a rotational harvesting model ready by Year 7. - Increase organic soil matter and biodiversity across estate plantations. - Build a sustainable microclimate contributing to higher tea yields. The Right Person (Skills & Experience) - 5–6 years’ proven experience in tree plantation, agroforestry, or forestry projects. - Degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Environmental Sciences (preferred). - Strong leadership and project management skills. - Ability to work with local communities and field supervisors. - Passionate about green projects and connected deeply with the environment.
