Tiles and Granite laying setters

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various types of tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all tile installations are completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas and designs accurately.
• Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives as needed.
• Install tiles in accordance with design specifications, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
• Grout and seal tiles to protect against moisture and enhance durability.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tile Setter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of tile materials, installation techniques, and safety practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
