Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welder to join our fabrication team. The TIG Welder will be responsible for precision welding of stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals according to engineering drawings and welding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding on a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel.
  
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
  
• Set up and operate TIG welding machines and related tools.
  
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and conformance to specifications (including visual and dimension checks).
  
• Prepare surfaces and clean finished welds using grinders or brushes.
  
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
  
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean working environment.
  
• Record job progress and quality records as required.
  

Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Welding Technology or a relevant technical field.
  
• Minimum 24 years of experience in TIG welding.
  
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and materials.
  
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand welding symbols.
  
• Certification in TIG welding (preferred).
  
• Experience in welding for pressure vessels, pipelines, or sheet metal (optional but preferred).
  

Key Skills:

• Expertise in TIG welding (GTAW process).
  
• Attention to detail and quality.
  
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding.
  

Work Conditions:

• Workshop or shop floor environment.
  
• May involve standing for long periods, lifting moderately heavy materials, and exposure to fumes (PPE provided).
