Job Title: Fitter (Mechanical assembly) Position Overview: We are looking for a responsible and organized individual to Assembly Fitter to join our manufacturing team at production shop floor. The Assembly Fitter will be responsible for fitting and assembling mechanical components and machinery parts based on technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions. This role requires precision, a good understanding of mechanical systems, and the ability to work collaboratively and assembly process runs efficiently. Responsibilities: 1. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. 2. Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. 3. Align and fit parts according to tolerances and specifications. 4. Perform mechanical fitting, drilling, tapping, grinding, and bolting tasks. 5. Inspect components and assemblies to ensure quality and functionality. 6. Identify and report any design, assembly, or quality issues. 7. Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures. 8. Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition. 9. Keep the work area clean and organized. 10. Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve assembly processes. 11. Follow the company rules and regulations and work quality. 12. Ready to work in-house as well as travel out of station with his superior for the site works when required. 13. Ready to work in-house with fabrication team or any other related tasks assigned by the superior Qualifications: 1. Diploma or ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/ Fitter trade. 2. Minimum knowledge to read English, write, and speak. 3. Basic knowledge of fabrication activities like welding, grinding, finishing, gas cutting, fitting, etc. 4. Basic knowledge to identifying and handling various fabrication tools, materials and equipment. 5. Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and symbols. 6. Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills. 7. Ability to work under limited supervision using standardized procedures. 8. Must have good physical strength is necessary to operate equipments and stand/bend the working hours. 9. Good hand-eye co-ordination is necessary. 10.
