Performing Arts is a key focus area, and we are seeking a dynamic Theatre Teacher to inspire creativity, confidence, and communication skills in our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and deliver theatre/drama lessons to students across different age groups (Primary, Middle & Secondary).
Introduce students to acting techniques, stagecraft, voice modulation, expression, body language, and improvisation.
Direct and prepare students for stage plays, skits, assemblies, annual day functions, and inter-school competitions.
Cultivate creativity, collaboration, and confidence among students.
Integrate theatre-based activities with academic learning to make classes more engaging.
Provide constructive feedback and maintain student performance records.
Collaborate with other faculty for cultural programs and events.
Ensure discipline, safety, and inclusivity during rehearsals and performances.
Requirements:
Bachelors/Master’s degree in Theatre/Drama/Performing Arts or equivalent qualification.
Prior experience in teaching theatre/drama in schools or training institutes preferred.
Strong knowledge of theatre techniques, stage direction, and performance art.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Passion for working with children and fostering artistic talent.
Salary: 2.0 – 3.5 LPA (depending on experience & qualifications)
