Join the Solved Squad At The Solved Skin, we're on a mission to solve the persistent skin concerns that everyone else seems to have given up on. We believe that everyone deserves to live their life with confidence, free from the exhausting, confidence-crushing cycle of a recurring skin issue. We are a science-first, D2C brand funded by Fireside Ventures and founded by an ex Unilever duo who saw this gap firsthand. Our approach is built on honesty, efficacy, and a deep empathy for our customers’ journey. As an ambitious, early-stage startup, we are building a team of passionate, problem-solving individuals who are obsessed with our consumer. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a brand that is poised to become the most trusted name in problem-solution skincare in India. Responsibilities As we scale across D2C and marketplaces (expanding FBA states and onboarding new channels, including quick commerce in upcoming months ), we need a builder who keeps us in-stock, fast, and efficient —from planning to procurement, production with our third-party manufacturers, and multi-node deployment—while staying light on process and heavy on outcomes. (Think: short lead-time orchestration, SKU availability, low aged inventory, and lower ops cost/order.). This is how you'd likely be spending your time: 30% Planning (data-driven, weekly S&OP) Run a weekly 12-week S&OP (D2C + marketplaces): convert demand to a supply plan with frozen/slushy/liquid horizons. Set safety stock/ROP per SKU & node using variable lead times (primary/secondary packs, common RM, occasional regulated RM imports). Track OTIF, OOS; publish crisp, action-oriented dashboards. 50% Backend supply (procurement & production with 3P manufacturers) Primary packaging (30–70d, high variance): rolling POs, dual-sourcing, MOQ ladders; protect against variability with time buffers. Secondary packaging (~20d): cost-efficient buys while limiting obsolescence (design/version control). Raw materials: place/expedite common RM (~30d) with CMOs; for regulated imports (120d+ with variance) , coordinate vendors/distributors and timelines so material is available when needed. Convert the plan into factory schedules once secondary packaging docks; ensure adherence to SOPs and clean change control on artwork/regulatory. Bonus if you bring a network of pharma-grade manufacturing partners . 20% Logistics & deployment (multi-node, multi-channel) Replenish fast expanding network of D2C FCs to Days-of-Inventory targets; keep aged inventory low. Own Amazon FBA and new marketplaces replenishment (catalog readiness, ASN/inbound windows, compliant labels). Prepare us for quick commerce : narrow, high-velocity SKU sets, node-level inventory sync and frequent top-ups for dark stores, fast SLAs, and pack/price suited to rapid-delivery missions What you bring: 4–6 years in FMCG/D2C/e-commerce supply chain; preferably in beauty/personal care Hands-on S&OP/MRP : translating spiky demand into clear POs and line schedules. Packaging & RM procurement experience (lead-time/cost SLAs, dual-source playbooks). Marketplace ops : Amazon FBA replenishment fundamentals and inbound compliance. Tooling: strong Excel/Sheets; working knowledge of Unicommerce (OMS/WMS) and Shiprocket (courier allocation, labels). Crisp written updates, supplier rapport, and “one source of truth” discipline. Nice to have: Beauty/cosmetics or personal-care exposure; familiarity with Indian cosmetics labeling basics. Comfort partnering with data-driven planning models (you won’t build ML, but you’ll use the outputs and close the loop fast). A vetted manufacturer/vendor Rolodex you can tap from day one.
