Job brief We are looking for a creative and proficient in all aspects of food preparation, Responsibilities In charge of a specific section (e.g., grill, sauce, pastry, wok, fryer, etc.). Ensures mise en place (ingredients & prep) is ready before service. Prepares dishes consistently according to recipes and standards. Ensures food presentation is attractive and portion sizes are correct. Maintains cleanliness and order in their section. Works with Commis Chefs (junior cooks) and guides them. Reports to the Head Chef. Keeps track of ingredients and minimizes waste. Reports shortages or needs for their section. Prepares and serves dishes on time, especially during peak service.
