Company Description The Association of People with Disability (APD) in India is a non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged people with disabilities since 1959. Located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, APD runs extensive programs in both rural and urban areas to support children and adults with various disabilities, including locomotor, spinal cord injury, speech and hearing impairments, and cerebral palsy. APD has positively impacted over 1 million lives with its comprehensive approach, which includes early intervention, education, livelihood, rehabilitation, capacity building, and access to entitlements. The organization also collaborates with local NGOs, government agencies, corporate partners, and other bodies to extend the reach and impact of its programs. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Director of Rehabilitation. The Director of Rehabilitation will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing rehabilitation programs, managing a multidisciplinary team, and developing strategies to improve patient outcomes. Daily tasks include planning, coordinating, and implementing rehabilitation services; monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness; and collaborating with other stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and community organizations. The Director will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining high standards of care. Qualifications (Phd - Rehab/Related) Experience in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy Strong background in Rehabilitation and Medicine Excellent leadership and team management skills Proven ability to develop and implement rehabilitation strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor&aposs or Master&aposs degree in a related field Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus Show more Show less
