We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to join our school's faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Science at the senior secondary level following the CBSE curriculum. The Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering comprehensive instruction, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment conducive to academic excellence.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development: Design and develop comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with the CBSE curriculum for senior secondary level Science.

Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, fostering student understanding and enthusiasm for Science.

Student Assessment: Implement various assessment strategies to evaluate student progress and understanding, including quizzes, tests, projects, and presentations.

Individualized Support: Provide individualized assistance and support to students who require additional help in understanding Science concepts or improving their academic performance.

Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, while effectively managing student behavior and promoting mutual respect among students.

Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, academic performance, and any concerns or issues that may arise.

Professional Development: Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in Science education, participating in professional development activities as necessary to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings to align curriculum, share resources, and discuss student progress and instructional strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Social Science or related field; Master's degree preferred.

B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification.

Proficient understanding of the CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.

Prior experience teaching Science at the senior secondary level, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school.

Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive learning environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.

Passion for teaching and commitment to fostering student learning and achievement.

Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Familiarity with educational technology and willingness to integrate it into instruction.
