Textile Designer Intern

As a Textile Designer Intern at Tantukala Designs Llp., you will play a crucial role in supporting local artisans of India by providing design inputs, market exposure, and a platform to showcase their skills. You will work with traditional textile handicrafts from various regions in India with a modern contemporary approach. Every product is handmade and crafted with the help of crafts women from Bihar. Your main responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the creation and design of textiles such as Madhubani paintings, Sikki Grass products, and Sujani Embroidery - Developing new concepts for Men's wear collections featuring Madhubani paintings - Researching and developing products made from Sikki Grass - Travelling to crafts clusters to collaborate with artisans on design concepts - Collaborating with the design team to ensure the quality and aesthetics of the designs To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Ideal for interns or college students seeking a 2-6 month internship or graduation project - Passionate about textile crafts with a good understanding of the industry - Proficiency in graphics and graphic design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator - Creative mindset with the ability to think innovatively - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills - Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently - Pursuing or having completed a degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field Join us at Tantukala Designs Llp. to make a difference in the lives of local artisans and contribute to the preservation of traditional Indian crafts through innovative design approaches.,
