Role Description This is an on-site internship role based in Jaipur for a Textile Designer Intern. The intern will assist in the design and development of textile products, particularly handcrafted rugs and stair runners. Responsibilities include supporting the design team in creating patterns and prototypes, researching design trends, working closely with artisans, and ensuring high-quality standards in each piece produced. This role requires a proactive and collaborative approach to contribute to creative and sustainable design solutions. Qualifications Proficiency in Textile Design, Pattern Making, and Surface Design Strong research skills and an understanding of current trends in textile and interior design Attention to detail, creativity, and a strong understanding of color, texture, and materials Basic knowledge of traditional weaving techniques and sustainable design principles is an advantage Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with artisans and design teams Enthusiasm for learning, adaptability, and a passion for handcrafted textiles Pursuing a degree or diploma in Textile Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
