As a Textile Application Specialist (Manager/Sr. Manager) based in Chennai under the Textile Application Lab department reporting to the Head of R&D/QC/NPD, you will be responsible for supporting formulation testing and development. Your role will involve conducting textile processing trials such as Scouring, Bleaching, Soaping, Dyeing, Printing, and Finishing. You will also operate lab instruments including HPLC, spectrophotometer, and pH meter, perform titrations, standard solution preparation, and calibration. Collaboration with marketing teams on troubleshooting experiments, maintaining test records, and preparing summary reports will be part of your duties. It is essential to have a thorough knowledge of pulp and processing lab equipment. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct textile processing trials including Scouring, Bleaching, Soaping, Dyeing, Printing, and Finishing. - Operate lab instruments such as HPLC, spectrophotometer, pH meter, etc. - Perform titrations, standard solution preparation, and calibration. - Collaborate with marketing teams on troubleshooting experiments. - Maintain test records and prepare summary reports. - Possess thorough knowledge of pulp and processing lab equipment. Qualifications: - BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Textile Chemistry / Fashion Technology. - 7+ years of experience or a fresher from a reputed textile institute. - Strong knowledge of textile chemicals and lab procedures. - Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
