Job Summary We are looking for an experienced US Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing for US-based employees in an offshore delivery model. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of US payroll regulations, tax compliance, and payroll systems, ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution while supporting onshore stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Process end-to-end US payroll on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions Manage federal, state, and local tax withholdings (FICA, FUTA, SUTA, etc.) Handle payroll inputs including timecards, PTO, benefits, garnishments, and reimbursements Ensure compliance with US payroll laws and regulations (IRS, DOL, state agencies) Prepare, validate, and submit payroll tax filings and reports Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies promptly Respond to employee payroll inquiries and support onshore HR/Finance teams Maintain payroll records with strict adherence to data security and confidentiality Assist in internal and external audits related to payroll Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field Minimum 2 years of hands-on US payroll experience Strong understanding of US payroll compliance and tax regulations Experience with US payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, Workday, UKG (UltiPro), or Ceridian Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, payroll reconciliations) High attention to detail with strong analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in US time-zone support when required Preferred Qualifications Exposure to multi-state payroll processing Experience working in an offshore or shared services environment Knowledge of benefits administration and payroll integrations Prior experience supporting audits and year-end payroll activities (W-2, W-3) Why Join Us Opportunity to work on US payroll operations from an offshore setup Stable full-time role with growth opportunities Exposure to multi-state and complex payroll environments Competitive compensation based on experience
