As an ETL Tester at EY, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of data transformations within the systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Working closely with Business Analysts and Software Developers to identify system requirements. - Troubleshooting and documenting bugs and defects using bug tracking systems like JIRA. - Actively participating in daily stand-ups and other meetings as necessary. - Identifying both functional and technical test scenarios applicable to the object under validation. - Preparing the test design document, uploading and executing test cases in JIRA Zephyr. - Creating source SQL queries based on the mapping doc and comparing them with TGT data for data quality checks. - Analyzing data and comparing it with expected results. - Translating business requirements and specifications into test scenarios and test cases. - Documenting test results and getting them reviewed and approved by the BA Team. In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - ETL testing experience at a Senior Level. - Strong advanced SQL skills. - DBT skills (preferred). - Very good verbal and written communication skills. - Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong teamwork skills. - Knowledge in Tableau Report testing (preferred). - Experience with Informatica / Datastage Pipelines. - Testing experience with Data migration and validations. - Hands-on experience with PL / SQL. - Good understanding of UT / IT / UAT strategies and related release artifacts. - Ability to independently produce desired testing results.
