Test Engineer, Embedded Silicon

Role Overview: As a Test Engineer at Google, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional software quality for one or more IPs within silicon software. You will collaborate with development teams to create and implement test strategies, drive test automation, and uphold product and engineering excellence. Your dedication to analyzing test results and feedback will contribute to the continuous improvement of our products. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver exceptional software quality for one or more IPs within silicon software. - Create and implement test strategies by collaborating with development teams to identify risk areas and fill testing gaps. - Drive test automation using existing test frameworks and collaborate with the Engineering Productivity team to enhance and develop new test frameworks based on requirements. - Uphold product and engineering excellence as a core value in test engineering and our associated development partners. - Triage and analyze test results and incoming feedback to identify areas for improvement. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience in hardware or embedded testing or automation. - Experience testing embedded software on SoC on Linux, Android or Real-Time Operating System (RTOS).
