Test Automation Practice Manager

You have an urgent need for a Test Automation Practice Manager in Chennai. As a Test Automation Practice Manager, you will be responsible for leading the functional test automation efforts and Centre of Excellence capabilities within the projects. Your role will involve coming up with innovative automation solutions and developing automation frameworks using tools such as UFT, TestComplete, and Selenium. In this position, you will work within various account manager or sales teams to implement the Automation Strategy and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of Software Engineers, Automation Engineers, BI and database experts, Infrastructure Architects, Software Architects, Infrastructure Engineers, and Network Engineers to optimize test coverage through test automation of software deployment. Your responsibilities will include making analytical decisions around automating test cases and guiding the automation engineering team on eligible automation candidates, automation techniques, and best practices. Additionally, you will have supervisory responsibilities for the automation engineers, expertise in effort estimation, and tracking effort on a day-to-day basis until project closure. To excel in this role, you should possess strong analytical skills, knowledge of business processes, and capability design, along with excellent team leadership and relationship-building skills. You must have outstanding decision-making abilities and the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid changes. Extensive hands-on experience in automation tools like HP UFT, Selenium, HP QC/ALM, and automation frameworks like keyword-driven and hybrid is essential. Furthermore, you should have excellent communication skills, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and expertise in systems performance analysis and optimization in a distributed client/server environment.
