Project Role Test Automation Engineer

Project Role Description Transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

SummaryAs a Test Automation Engineer, you will transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to enhance testing strategies, implementing innovative solutions, and ensuring the highest standards of quality in software products. You will engage in problem-solving activities, analyze testing outcomes, and contribute to the evolution of predictive testing approaches, all while maintaining a focus on accuracy and integrity in the testing process.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME.

Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Develop and implement automated testing frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.

Mentor junior team members in best practices for test automation. "Key
Skills:

Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and frameworks like TestNG or Cucumber.Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, or C#).Expertise in CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).Knowledge of cross-browser testing and debugging.Good to know TOSCA AutomationMention BDD framework knowledge and experiencefor seleniumKey Responsibilities:1. Develop Selenium-based automation frameworks.2. Create and maintain reusable scripts for web and mobile applications.3. Enable cross-browser and cross-platform testing.4. Train QA teams on Selenium and ensure script quality.5. Implement test reporting and enhance automation coverage."

Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Selenium.

This position is based in Pune.
