As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and performing a variety of banking transactions for our clients. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Process deposits, withdrawals, and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to customers Handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner Maintain and balance cash drawers and adhere to all cash handling procedures Follow all bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and targets Continuously update knowledge of bank products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in finance or related field preferred Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in a banking environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance is a plus Additional Parameters Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds Fluency in local language is preferred Prior experience in cash handling and sales is a plus Join our team at IDFC FIRST Bank and be a part of a dynamic and growing organization.
