The Editing Lab is a creative education institute focused on teaching video editing and content creation through practical, industry-oriented training. We help aspiring editors, creators, freelancers, and content professionals develop real-world editing skills.

Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic and confident Telecaller Executive to handle student enquiries, make outbound calls, understand student requirements, explain our courses, conduct follow-ups, and convert interested leads into admissions.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable speaking with students and parents, have good communication skills, and be motivated by targets and results.

Key Responsibilities

• Call and communicate with leads generated through Instagram, Facebook, website, WhatsApp, and other channels.
• Understand the student's background, interests, goals, and learning requirements.
• Explain The Editing Lab's courses, curriculum, duration, learning process, and benefits clearly.
• Counsel potential students and help them understand which course is suitable for them.
• Follow up regularly with interested leads through calls and WhatsApp.
• Maintain proper records of calls, follow-ups, lead status, and admissions.
• Schedule counselling sessions, office visits, or course demos when required.
• Handle basic questions and objections from students and parents.
• Convert qualified leads into admissions.
• Coordinate with the admissions/counselling team to ensure smooth student onboarding.
• Maintain daily and weekly calling and conversion reports.
• Achieve assigned calling, follow-up, and admission targets.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Marathi communication will be an added advantage.
• Confident and friendly personality.
• Good convincing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students.
• Strong follow-up skills.
• Comfortable working with targets.
• Basic knowledge of WhatsApp, Google Sheets/Excel, and CRM tools.
• Ability to handle rejection positively and continue follow-ups professionally.

Who Can Apply?

• Freshers with strong communication skills can apply.
• Candidates with experience in telecalling, sales, education counselling, admissions, or customer support are preferred.
• Candidates who have worked in an educational institute, coaching centre, or training academy will be an advantage.

Performance Expectations
The candidate will be responsible for:

Leads → Calls → Follow-ups → Counselling → Office Visits → Admissions

Performance will be evaluated based on:

• Lead contact rate
• Follow-up consistency
• Counselling/visit bookings
• Lead-to-admission conversion
• Monthly admission targets
• Quality of communication and CRM/lead management
