Tekla Modeler & Detailer – PEB Structures

Role Purpose:

To create accurate 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings of PEB structures using Tekla Structures with PEB Tools, ensuring design precision, fabrication feasibility, and adherence to project timelines and client standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Modeling & Drafting

• Develop 3D structural models for PEB frames, secondary members, rafters, columns, girts, braces, sheeting layouts, etc.
• Generate GA drawings, Anchor Bolt Plans, Erection Drawings, Sheeting Drawings using Tekla PEB tools.
• Prepare shop drawings, assembly drawings, part drawings & DXF files for fabrication.
• Apply standard PEB connections (Moment connection, Splice connection, Base plate connection, Bracing connections) using Tekla macros.

2. Quality & Standards

• Ensure drawings follow AIS/MBMA/IS Codes and company detailing standards.
• Perform model checking for clashes, alignment accuracy, member sizes, and bolt standards.
• Follow revision control, drawing numbering systems, and BOM accuracy.

4. Documentation & Output

• Generate BOM, CNC data, Cutting Lists, Bolt Lists, Welding lists directly from Tekla.
• Export NC files / DXF for CNC machines for fabrication compatibility.
• Maintain proper file management, backups, and version control in Tekla.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures (PEB Environment / PEB Custom Tools).
• Knowledge of Pre-Engineered Building components & fabrication process.
• Understanding of steel codes – IS 800, MBMA, AISC, AWS.
• Familiarity with connection detailing standards & fabrication tolerances.

Software Skills

• Tekla Structures with PEB macros/tools (Mandatory)
• AutoCAD (for reference/markups)
• MS Excel / BOM reporting tools

Core Competencies

• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good visualization & 3D interpretation skills
• Team coordination

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil
• 2+ years of experience in Tekla Modeling & Detailing for PEB Industry (Freshers with strong Tekla training can be considered)
• Experience in PEB fabrication or steel detailing company preferred

Performance Indicators (KPI)

• Accuracy of model and drawing output
• On-time drawing submission
• Minimal revisions due to detailing errors

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
