ROLE DISCRIPTION This is a full-time, on-site Energy Storage Engineer position based in Ahmedabad . The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and optimization of energy storage systems , with a focus on Redox Flow Batteries and Lithium-ion battery packs . The role involves hands-on research and development , system-level analysis, and close collaboration with electrical, chemical, and mechanical engineering teams to improve battery performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. You will also support renewable energy projects by providing technical expertise for energy storage integration and scalable deployment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop Redox Flow Battery systems and Lithium-ion battery packs Conduct R&D activities , including material evaluation, system modeling, and performance optimization Analyze and optimize electrochemical, electrical, and thermal performance of energy storage systems Support prototype development, testing, and validation (efficiency, cycle life, safety, and reliability) Evaluate battery systems for grid-connected and renewable energy applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system efficiency, safety, and manufacturability Provide technical documentation and insights to support scalable and sustainable energy solutions
