The role of Software Tester requires a candidate with 3-4 years of experience in manual and automation testing. Located in Satellite, Ahmedabad (WFO), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through effective testing strategies. Your responsibilities will include developing, executing, and maintaining test cases, test plans, and automation scripts. You will be involved in functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). It will be your duty to identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello. Additionally, you will be expected to design and implement automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or Playwright. Moreover, you will conduct API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured. Ensuring seamless integration of tests in CI/CD pipelines will be part of your routine. Collaboration with developers and business teams is essential to guarantee that software meets the necessary requirements. You will also be responsible for continuously exploring and implementing new testing tools and best practices. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing, a strong understanding of STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile methodologies. Hands-on experience with automation tools, test management platforms, and API testing is required. Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting is also necessary. This is a full-time position with benefits including Provident Fund. The work schedule is day shift, Monday to Friday. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Ahmedabad, Gujarat, or plan to relocate before starting work. A Bachelor's degree is preferred along with 2 years of experience in Automation Testing and 2 years of experience in Manual Testing. Fluent English communication skills are required for this role.
