Industry: Architectural & Interior Design Job Summary: The Design Head will spearhead the technical, aesthetic, and strategic aspects of glass partition product development while ensuring alignment with Indian and international market standards . This role requires expertise in design innovation, error-free execution, team leadership, and business-oriented design strategies . Key Responsibilities:Business & Design Execution Drive the sales booking target through accurate and timely preparation of BOQs and Shop Drawings (Maintain MIS on project Errors). Lead change management processes , ensuring revised drawings adhere to timeline constraints. Identify cost variances between estimated and actual project expenditures, coordinating with finance. Ensure impactful stakeholder communication for design modifications and approvals. Oversee daily stand-up meetings and implement an hourly timesheet tracking system for the design team. Maintain an error-tracking MIS , quantifying commercial value impacts of BOQ mistakes and project delays. Implement retention strategies for high performers and incentive programs to boost motivation. Conduct quarterly KPI reviews and implement structured training programs for dealers and new employees. Product & Innovation Drive design innovation by introducing new materials, techniques, and industry best practices . Stay updated with Denmark product lines and ensure smooth EMEA support integration. Oversee documentation for product launches , ensuring accuracy in technical drawings and specifications . Global Market & Export Services Ensure error-free BOQs and drawings for international markets . Implement design profitability models , transforming the team into a revenue-generating unit. Technology Advancement Integrate new product lines into automation , including FG2, Box Sections, and Portals . Upskill team members in Autodesk Inventor & Revit software . Business Development Support Allocate 1 0% time towards BD collaboration , working with sales teams on technical specs and client interactions . Balance India & EMEA workload effectively , ensuring timely execution of projects. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s/master's in architecture , Industrial Design, Interior Design, Civil/Mechanical Engineering Experience: 10+ years in architectural glass partition design or related fields. Software Expertise: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Rhino, SketchUp , and other design software. Global Design Knowledge: Understanding of international standards, sustainability practices, and manufacturing efficiencies . Communication & Leadership: Strong ability to manage teams, collaborate with global clients, and resolve design challenges effectively . Preferred Experience: Exposure to international design projects and global business operations . Experience in high-end modular glass partition systems . Knowledge of sustainable materials and cost-effective design solutions .
