Role Purpose: The primary objective of this role is to create content that effectively communicates intricate technical information to users through various techniques such as writing and illustrations, tailored to meet client requirements and quality standards. Responsibilities: - Prepare new technical content or update existing content for clients. - Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (internal or client-side) to comprehend client requirements, target audience, product documentation needs, and specific content writing guidelines related to the domain (e.g., Oil & Gas or Aerospace) or industry standards. - Identify the types of documents (e.g., FAQs, product manuals, software manuals, SOPs, etc.) to be developed for the client. - Determine the suitable authoring tools to be utilized. - Conduct research, design, illustrate, write, revise, and edit high-quality, user-friendly print documentations and manuals for end users of clients. - Maintain and adhere to project tasks, including checklists, and manage version control in alignment with the quality framework. Deliverables: Key Performance Indicators: 1. Technical Writing: - Adherence to project processes, allocated tasks, checklists, and quality standards. - First Time Right (FTR) approach. - Timely release of documents (minimal rework time). - Error-free work and minimal number of reviews. - Client feedback assessment.
