As a Data Engineer with 5-9 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in designing & developing data transformations and data models to ensure reliable and efficient data processing and analysis. Your expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool) and proficiency in Snowflake will be essential for maintaining robust data pipelines and optimizing data ingestion processes. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will support data-driven decision-making processes and contribute to the overall success of insights teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design & develop data transformations and models using DBT for efficient data processing. - Utilize Snowflake, including experience with Snowflake SQL, for data warehousing and modeling. - Ensure data integrity and quality by collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders. - Perform data analysis and profiling to identify and address data quality issues. - Maintain documentation of data workflows, models, and ETL processes. - Stay updated with the latest trends in data engineering, DBT, and Snowflake. - Adhere to development best practices, including version control using Git and branching models. - Participate in scrum methodology, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. **Qualifications Required:** - Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on data ingestion and ETL processes. - Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python or Java. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS) and experience on AWS Lambda. - Experience with other ETL tools and technologies is a plus (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica).
