As a Technical Specialist-Cloud & Infra Engg at BIRLASOFT OFFICE in NOIDA, INDIA, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Serve as an Oracle DBA & MSSQL DBA with expertise in AWS RDS Administration - Oracle DBA responsibilities include: - Handling various versions of Oracle Database and understanding their architecture - Configuring & managing Database Replication, Standby DR, and High Availability (RAC) - Monitoring System Performance and addressing contention for CPU, memory, network, and disk resources - Performing Database Clone/Refresh using Data pump and RMAN Backups utilities - Upgrading Oracle Databases from lower versions to higher versions (e.g., 12c to 18c) - Utilizing Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) and Automatic Database Diagnostic Monitor (ADDM) for performance analysis - Managing Database migration, upgradation, installation, and configuration - SQL Server responsibilities include: - Understanding MSSQL Server database architecture - Providing support and troubleshooting for Performance, Backup, and Network-related issues - Managing database jobs and executing database upgrade or migration tasks - RDS Databases responsibilities include: - Managing RDS databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Timestream DB - Performing patching and upgrades of RDS databases - Managing instance types of RDS databases - Executing database refresh and migration tasks - Possessing basic knowledge of AWS Cloud Administration Please note that the optional responsibility of Sybase DB administration, including Database Refresh, Database Restore, Database Stop and Start, is also listed in the job description.,
