Role & responsibilities
Automation Application Execution
- Assist in executing industrial automation applications for on-site and off-site customers.
- Understand customer requirements and support the implementation of suitable automation solutions.
- Assist with configuration, testing and validation of industrial automation systems.
- Support applications involving PLCs, HMI, SCADA, VFDs, servo systems and soft starters.
- Coordinate with senior engineers and internal sales teams to ensure smooth execution of assigned applications.
2. Commissioning & Troubleshooting
- Support installation, testing and commissioning of automation systems at customer sites.
- Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues related to automation products and applications.
- Perform basic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting under appropriate technical guidance.
- Conduct functional checks to verify the performance of automation systems.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers and coordinate follow-up until resolution.
3. OEM & End-User Application Development
- Assist in developing automation applications and solutions for OEMs and end-user customers.
- Understand customer process requirements and help identify suitable automation products.
- Support basic programming, configuration and testing activities, as applicable.
- Work with internal technical teams to address application-specific requirements.
- Develop practical knowledge of industrial automation products and their applications.
4. Proof of Concept (PoC) & Product Demonstrations
- Assist in planning and executing PoC activities based on customer requirements.
- Support product demonstrations, application testing and technical validation.
- Record observations, test results and customer feedback.
- Coordinate with sales and technical teams to communicate PoC outcomes and identify further opportunities.
