About Us
Siebener Automation and Solution is an automation engineering company based in Kerala and operating since 2013. We specialise in designing and building special-purpose machines (SPMs) for the automobile industry, along with automation systems for other manufacturing sectors. After more than a decade of delivering reliable machines to our customers, we are now expanding our operations in Tamil Nadu from our Chennai / Sriperumbudur office. We are looking for a technically strong local engineer to help us grow in the region by winning orders and seeing them through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Identify and approach prospective clients in automotive, electronics, manufacturing and allied industries across Chennai, Sriperumbudur, Oragadam, Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu
- Generate leads through plant visits, enquiries, networking and references
- Understand customer requirements and prepare technical and commercial proposals with the engineering team
- Prepare quotations, negotiate and close orders
- Build long-term relationships with procurement, maintenance, production and quality teams
- Maintain the enquiry-to-order pipeline and give regular sales reports to management
Project Handling
- Act as the main point of contact between the customer and our internal teams from order confirmation to handover
- Prepare project schedules, track milestones and follow up on deliverables
- Coordinate with design, procurement, production and installation teams
- Take part in design reviews, FAT/SAT, installation and commissioning support
- Handle customer queries, change requests and documentation during execution
- Follow up on payment milestones with the accounts team
- Flag risks and delays early and help resolve them
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics (EEE/ECE), Instrumentation or Automation
- 1–5 years of experience in technical sales, project coordination or engineering in automation, machinery or SPMs (freshers with strong aptitude and internship exposure may also apply)
- Fluent in Tamil and English, spoken and written (Malayalam or Hindi is a plus)
- Based in Tamil Nadu, or willing to relocate to the Chennai / Sriperumbudur area
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand customer specifications
- Basic knowledge of automation components such as PLCs, sensors, pneumatics, motors and drives, and robotics
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email
- Willingness to travel for client visits and site support
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with the Chennai / Sriperumbudur / Oragadam industrial belt and its customers
- Existing industry contacts in the region
- Experience with SPMs, assembly or testing machines, or conveyor and robotic systems
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Experience with RFQs, vendor registration and project documentation
- Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
