Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Aptiv, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of mobility by contributing to the development of advanced safety systems, electrification solutions, and data connectivity solutions for automakers worldwide. Your responsibilities will include: - Exposure to Requirements Managements tools such as DOORS, Polarion, Design tools like EA, and Configuration management tools like CM Synergy, Plastic SCM, GIT - Requirement analysis, Design, and Development - Middleware Application development for Infotainment products in Bluetooth Platform - Peer Review, Unit Testing, and Functional Testing - Collaboration with multiple software competency and system competency for module development - Support estimation and planning in an iterative development environment - Debug and resolve customer reported issues on target board - Follow agile development methodologies as part of SW development life cycle To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages with experience on Linux/QNX/Android platforms - 6+ years of experience in Embedded systems development and Automotive domain - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with complete ownership of building blocks - Knowledge of version control systems like GIT, Plastic SCM, CM Synergy - Familiarity with VM Software Development Environment, Eclipse IDE - Understanding of Unit Testing Framework like CPP Test Framework, GTest/GMock - Exposure to Automotive Embedded Development and Testing tools like Vector CAN tools - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Self-motivated and energetic Optional qualifications include experience with Bluetooth application software development, analyzing Bluetooth Air Snifer logs, exposure to Bluetooth open source Stack Integration, and knowledge of Bluetooth low energy protocol.
