As a Technical Lead specializing in SAP Testing, you are expected to have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SAP modules, particularly focusing on the SAP IS-U module. Your role involves leading and overseeing all testing activities associated with the SAP IS-U (Industry Solutions for Utilities) module. This encompasses the planning, execution, and supervision of testing cycles, ensuring the quality and functionality of the IS-U system, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to address issues and enhance the testing process effectively. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating expertise in working with utility companies and comprehending their business processes. - Defining the overall testing strategy, scope, and approach for SAP IS-U projects, encompassing test plans, test cases, and test data management. - Proficiency in core IS-U processes such as customer information management, meter reading, billing, device management, and contract management. - Understanding the underlying data structures and tables in SAP IS-U. - Ensuring the quality and reliability of the SAP IS-U system by validating that it aligns with business requirements and quality standards. - Designing and developing detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications. - Experience with diverse testing methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps, along with familiarity with testing tools such as HP ALM or equivalent. - Leading and guiding a team of testers, offering mentorship and support to ensure successful test execution. - Supervising the execution of test scripts, managing testing cycles, monitoring defects, and ensuring timely issue resolution. - Collaborating with business users, developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate testing progress, and ensure alignment on testing activities. - Expertise in test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Tricentis Tosca, or similar. - Experience with various testing techniques such as functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing, along with relevant tools. - Providing regular updates on testing progress, including test results, defect metrics, and risk assessments.
