Technical Lead - Power BI with SQL

Dear candidates, ValueLabs is currently looking for a BI Lead with a strong background in Power BI and SQL to join our team at the earliest. The ideal candidate should possess 8-12 years of experience and expertise in Power BI, SQL queries, and Azure Data Factory (ADF). As a Technical Lead, your key responsibilities will include creating engaging and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop. You will also be tasked with designing and implementing Power BI data models that seamlessly integrate with various data sources. Additionally, you will be expected to automate report delivery and scheduling using tools like Power Automate. The role will also require you to have experience in team management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and data warehouses using Azure Synapse Analytics. As a part of the role, you will oversee and manage a team of data engineers, ensuring they meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing team guidelines, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity and performance. Mentoring and coaching team members to improve their skills and career development will be crucial, along with conducting regular one-on-one meetings to discuss progress, address concerns, and set goals.
