Role & responsibilities We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary oncology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating cancer patients, developing radiation treatment plans, and overseeing the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy. Preferred candidate profile Evaluate patients and determine appropriate radiation treatment plans. Collaborate with medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals. Prescribe, plan, and supervise the delivery of radiation therapy using modern techniques (e.g., IMRT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT, 3D-CRT). Monitor patient progress during and after treatment, adjusting plans as needed. Explain procedures, side effects, and expected outcomes to patients and their families. Ensure patient safety and maintain accurate records. Participate in tumor boards, case discussions, and clinical research if applicable. Stay updated with advancements in radiation oncology and attend relevant CME/CPD programs.
