Role: Teamcenter Administration, Upgrade & Infrastructure Management

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Administrator with 8+ years of hands-on experience in Teamcenter administration, NX integration, and Teamcenter upgrades.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in administering Teamcenter 2606, managing enterprise server components, configuring Active Workspace, FMS/FSC, Multi-Site, Store-and-Forward, Dispatcher, and Solr/Indexer services.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting Teamcenter upgrade activities across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments, ensuring system stability, performance, connectivity, and successful production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and administer Teamcenter 2606, including TC_ROOT, TC_DATA, Enterprise Server, Pool Manager, Active Workspace, and related server components.

• Support DEV, TEST, and PROD upgrade execution, including pre-upgrade checks, configuration migration, deployment, smoke testing, and production cutover.

• Work with Oracle DBAs during WE8ISO8859P1 to AL32UTF8 conversion.

• Validate Teamcenter Unicode configuration, Japanese/multilingual data, and post-conversion application connectivity.

• Configure and administer FMS, FSC, FCC, Teamcenter volumes, secondary cache servers, cache routing, and file-transfer validation.

• Configure, validate, and troubleshoot Teamcenter Multi-Site and Store-and-Forward, including SMC/TcM connectivity, queues, replication, ownership, and multilingual data transfers.

• Administer Solr/Search, Indexer, Dispatcher, license services, SSO, and Teamcenter background services.

• Troubleshoot system performance, connectivity, and service-related issues.

• Manage environment configurations, preference deployment, organization/access configurations, and backup/restore coordination.

• Execute production readiness activities and support production deployment.

• Prepare operational documentation, installation/configuration runbooks, and cutover/rollback procedures.

• Provide post-go-live hypercare support and knowledge transfer.

Required Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of experience in Teamcenter Administration.

• Hands-on experience in Teamcenter NX integration and NX upgrades.

• Strong experience in Teamcenter installation, configuration, administration, and upgrade activities.

• Experience managing enterprise Teamcenter environments across DEV, TEST, and Production.

• Good understanding of Teamcenter infrastructure, server components, database connectivity, and file management.

• Experience troubleshooting Multi-Site, Store-and-Forward, FMS/FSC, and indexing-related issues.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
