JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Teaching & Classroom Management

• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with school curriculum.
• Prepare daily lesson plans, teaching aids, PPTs, and class activities.
• Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Conduct periodic assessments, class tests, and evaluate student performance.
• Provide remedial classes for slow learners and extra support when needed.
• Use innovative methods—activity-based learning, storytelling, demonstrations, digital tools, etc.

2. Academic Responsibilities

• Maintain proper records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and notebooks.
• Prepare question papers, worksheets, and assignments regularly.
• Participate actively in academic planning, curriculum discussions, and meetings.
• Support efficient conduct of exams, school events, and academic programmes.
• Ensure timely completion of syllabus as per school academic calendar.

3. Student Development & Mentorship

• Encourage discipline, moral values, communication skills, and overall growth.
• Identify academic or behavioral concerns and communicate with parents.
• Motivate students to participate in competitions, activities, and house events.
• Maintain a caring, supportive, and child-friendly classroom culture.

4. Collaboration & Professional Conduct

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, coordinators, and school administration.
• Attend teacher training workshops and upgrade professional skills.
• Maintain punctuality, ethics, confidentiality, and a respectful attitude.
• Support school functions, celebrations, assemblies, and special events.

5. Additional Duties

• Morning assembly duty, invigilation duty, and substitution classes as required.
• Maintain class cleanliness, discipline, and proper classroom decoration/board work.
• Assist in documentation, reports, and records required by the school.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Primary Teachers (I–V)

• Minimum Qualification: Graduate + D.El.Ed / B.Ed
• Fluency in English (spoken & written) mandatory
• Teaching experience preferred

Secondary Teachers (VI–X):

• Minimum Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate in relevant subject + B.Ed
• Strong command over subject
• Experience in teaching board classes preferred

General Requirements:

• Good communication skills
• Passion for teaching
• Classroom management skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Positive attitude and professionalism

SALARY & BENEFITS

• Salary based on qualification, experience, and demonstration class
• Salary range for primary teachers from 15000 - 25000, for secondary from 20000 - 30000/-
