Job Description

Plan and deliver subject-specific lessons as per the NIOS curriculum. Prepare students for NIOS public examinations by using recommended materials and practice tests. Maintain academic records, attendance, and progress reports for enrolled students. Guide students in choosing subjects and filling exam forms. Provide remedial instruction for slow learners or those needing additional help. Organize internal assessments, practical, and assignments. Liaise with parents, guardians, and NIOS officials when necessary. Stay updated with changes in the NIOS syllabus and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject (Master’s degree preferred). B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred but not mandatory depending on NIOS norms). Prior experience in teaching open school or alternative education programs is an advantage.
