Tax Associate/Manager

As a Tax Associate/Manager specializing in US Taxation, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax forms, specifically focusing on Schedules K-1 for hedge funds, private equity funds, and similar complex structures. Your expertise in partnership taxation and in-depth understanding of Subchapter K and investment partnership allocations will be crucial for this role. Based in Hyderabad, your key responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing U.S. tax returns, managing tax compliance processes for investment partnerships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely filings. You will leverage your knowledge of Subchapter K and partnership allocation methodologies to provide tax planning insights and enhance tax strategies. Additionally, you will play a vital role in guiding and mentoring junior tax staff on technical matters and best practices, while ensuring quality control and compliance with tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate for this position will have hands-on experience with GoSystem Tax RS software, which would be considered a significant advantage. You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in tax planning, compliance, or preparation/review of U.S. income tax returns. Strong familiarity with K-1 tax forms, as well as knowledge of investment management and partnership taxation, are essential qualifications for this role.
