Role & responsibilities

Tax Analyst role

Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end U.S. customer tax exemption process:
This includes receiving, validating, and accurately recording certificates in the tax engine to ensure proper exemption is applied to customer accounts and that tax calculations remain compliant and precise
U.S Sales and Use tax return preparations and filings:
Person will prepare the U.S sales tax returns which is in-house process and will be managing the local level returns with deep analysis of the transactions in SAP.
International VAT compliance:
The person will be engaged in International VAT compliance for different countries in terms of preparing the returns, making payment and filing returns.
Audit Support for US and International:
The person will closely work with senior employees to help them on various audits which include data extraction, invoice pull and analysis of the transactions.
Tax account reconciliation:
The person will be preparing the different GL reconciliations for tax accounts on monthly basis.

Experience and knowledge required:

Indirect Tax experience.
U.S sales tax exemption knowledge.
Good command over excels workings.
Excellent communication skills.
Ready to work in odd hours to meet the U.S timings Occasionally.
SAP, Tableau, Power Bi end user knowledge will give added advantages.

Qualification:

CA/CMA/CS (Inter) or MBA
