Deputy Manager - Process Engineer, Tada tada 3 - 8 years INR 6.0 - 6.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

Key Responsibilities: 1 . Process Planning & Optimization Develop and implement efficient fabrication processes (cutting, bending, welding, machining, painting, assembly, etc.). Standardize fabrication sequences, cycle times, and work instructions. Analyze bottlenecks and optimize process flow to enhance throughput. Introduce automation or tooling improvements where feasible. 2. Quality Assurance & Process Control Ensure dimensional accuracy, weld quality, and finishing as per customer drawings and QAP. Collaborate with QA team to resolve non-conformities and implement corrective actions. Maintain process documentation such as WPS (Welding Procedure Specification), PQR, and process control charts. 3. Productivity & Cost Improvement Drive initiatives for reduction in rework, rejection, and process scrap. Monitor welding consumables, gas usage, and fabrication consumable costs. Implement Lean, Kaizen, and 5S across fabrication bays. 4. Safety & Compliance Ensure adherence to TSDPL s EHS standards, PPE usage, and safe welding and cutting practices. Conduct job safety analysis (JSA) and participate in HIRA reviews. Promote zero harm culture and environmental compliance in fabrication operations. 5. Coordination & Support Work closely with Design, Planning, Maintenance, and Quality teams for smooth execution of projects. Support new project fabrication trials and process validations. Train operators and welders on process improvements and technical standards. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Fabrication yield improvement (%) Rework / rejection reduction (%) Energy and consumable cost per ton fabricated On-time project completion rate (%) Number of process improvement / Kaizen projects implemented Qualification & Experience: Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering / Metallurgy. Experience: 3 8 years in fabrication process engineering or production in heavy fabrication / structural fabrication / equipment manufacturing industry (preferably steel / OEM / EPC). Skills & Competencies: In-depth understanding of fabrication processes (cutting, welding, forming, machining, painting). Knowledge of fabrication standards AWS / ASME / IS codes. Familiarity with AutoCAD / SolidWorks / fabrication drawings. Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and 5S. Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP for production tracking. Deputy Manager - HRBP jamshedpur 5 - 12 years INR 12.0 - 13.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

1. Industrial Relations (IR): Maintain cordial and productive relations between management and workforce. Handle disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and grievance redressal procedures. Liaise with labour department, factory inspectorate, PF, ESI, and other government authorities. Ensure timely renewal of all statutory licenses and compliance with labour laws (Factories Act, CLRA, ID Act, etc.). Support collective bargaining and long-term settlement processes (if applicable). Maintain all statutory registers and records related to labour compliance. 2. HR Operations & Administration: Manage end-to-end plant HR operations, including attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and contract labour management. Ensure timely submission of MIS reports related to HR metrics, compliance, and manpower. Coordinate with contractors to ensure adherence to statutory compliance and safety norms. Oversee time office and manpower planning activities at the site. 3. Employee Engagement & Welfare: Drive employee engagement, communication forums, and welfare activities at the plant. Conduct periodic employee connect sessions to identify and resolve workplace issues. Implement training and awareness programs for workers and staff on safety, discipline, and behavioural aspects. Manage welfare facilities like canteen, transportation, uniform distribution, and medical assistance. 4. Compliance & Audit: Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to labour laws and company HR policies. Maintain accurate and updated HR & compliance documentation for inspections and audits. Support corporate HR during external and internal audits. 5. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE): Collaborate with the Safety department to ensure compliance with plant safety norms. Promote awareness of health, safety, and environmental responsibilities among the workforce. Key Skills & Competencies: Sound knowledge of labour laws and compliance requirements. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Problem-solving ability and conflict management skills. Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems (SAP / HRMS preferred). Hands-on experience with contract labour and statutory liaisoning. Qualifications & Experience: Education: MBA / PGDM in HR, MSW, or equivalent. Experience: 5 12 years of experience in HR & IR within a manufacturing / steel / heavy engineering setup.
