Department: International Business / Export Sales Location: West Bengal Reports To: Director – Polyplast Division Job Purpose: To lead and expand the Export Sales function for the Flexi Tank business by driving international growth, building long-term client relationships, achieving sales targets, and ensuring smooth execution of export operations from West Bengal. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Development & Market Expansion Formulate strategies to grow Flexi Tank sales across global markets. Identify and develop new distributors, agents, and business partners overseas. Establish and strengthen relationships with shipping companies, bulk liquid exporters, and logistics providers. 2. Sales Leadership Drive annual export sales targets and profitability objectives. Negotiate large-scale contracts and long-term agreements with international buyers. Conduct competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and market intelligence reporting. 3. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strategic relationships with global clients and partners. Provide high-level customer support and resolve escalated issues. Ensure client satisfaction through timely communication and service delivery. 4. Export Operations & Compliance Oversee order execution by coordinating with production, logistics, and documentation teams. Ensure adherence to Incoterms, COA, ISO certifications, and global trade regulations . Supervise export documentation, Letter of Credit (LC) handling, and overseas payment collection. 5. Strategy & Leadership Develop region-wise market entry and expansion strategies. Represent Tandhan Polyplast at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and conferences. Mentor, guide, and monitor the export sales team for achieving business goals. Present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and growth plans to top management. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of export sales, Flexi Tank industry, packaging, and international logistics . Proven leadership in managing large-scale export businesses. Negotiation, networking, and global market development expertise. In-depth understanding of Incoterms, international trade laws, and export documentation . Strategic decision-making with operational execution ability. Qualifications & Experience: MBA / PGDM in International Business, Marketing, or related field. 10–18 years of experience in Export Sales / International Business (preferably Flexi Tanks, Packaging, or Logistics industry) . Strong track record of global business development and achieving export revenue targets. Team leadership experience with exposure to multiple international markets.
