Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Educator in the Functional Academics (FA) Program , located in Bengaluru. The Special Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of children with developmental disabilities. Daily responsibilities include teaching academic and life skills, modifying curriculum based on developmental levels, maintaining progress reports, and collaborating with therapists and parents to ensure holistic development. The educator will play a key role in fostering independence, social skills, and learning readiness in children with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field RCI certification (mandatory) Experience in teaching children with developmental or intellectual disabilities Strong understanding of IEPs, behaviour management, and adaptive teaching methods Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
