Male Candidates can share your resume directly through career@anabond.com / 9789849538 Job Summary: We are looking for a Factory Assistant Manager HR will support the Factory HR Manager/Plant Head in managing all plant-level HR, IR, compliance, and people operations. The role focuses on workforce management, statutory compliance, employee relations, and maintaining a safe and disciplined work environment in a chemical manufacturing setup. Roles & Responsibilities (R&R): Plant HR Operations: Manage end-to-end plant HR operations for permanent, contract, and trainee employees Handle onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, and exits at plant level Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and shift rosters Coordinate payroll inputs with corporate HR/payroll team Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws: Ensure compliance with Factory Act, Contract Labour Act, Minimum Wages, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, and other applicable labor laws Handle inspections and liaise with labor authorities, factory inspectors, and auditors Maintain statutory registers, returns, and documentation Support safety, EHS, and legal compliance requirements Industrial Relations (IR): Maintain cordial industrial relations at plant level Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and domestic inquiries Support union interactions (if applicable) and contract labor management Ensure discipline, attendance control, and shop-floor harmony Recruitment & Manpower Planning: Manage plant-level recruitment for operators, supervisors, and staff Coordinate with manpower contractors and ensure compliance Support workforce planning and shift manpower allocation Employee Engagement & Welfare: Drive employee engagement initiatives, welfare activities, and communication programs Manage canteen, transport, medical, and other employee welfare facilities Support training programs on safety, compliance, and skill development Performance Management & Training: Support appraisal process and performance reviews Identify training needs and coordinate technical, safety, and behavioral training Maintain training records and compliance documentation Reporting & MIS: Prepare and submit HR MIS, headcount reports, absenteeism, attrition, and compliance reports Provide regular updates to Factory Manager and Corporate HR Required Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of plant HR operations and labor laws Hands-on experience in statutory compliance and IR Ability to handle shop-floor workforce and contract labor Good communication, negotiation, and conflict-handling skills Familiarity with EHS and safety culture in chemical plants Qualifications: MBA / MSW / PGDM in HR or Labor Laws 57 years of plant HR experience in chemical / manufacturing industry
