6 Months - 2.5 Years of Experience in Chemical Industry with Diploma / Post Diploma in Industrial Safety (recognized by Government) weather persuing or completed is required. No of Post: 2 Location: (1) Chhatral, Kalol, Gandhinagar, Gujarat (2) Dahej, Bharuch, Gujarat Basic understanding of ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001 systems. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation. Good understanding of industrial safety practices and chemical process hazards. Familiar with MSDS, chemical labeling, and hazardous material management. Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively. Knowledge of applicable safety laws, such as Factories Act, Environmental Protection Act, and local regulations. Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies across all departments. Conduct routine safety inspections, risk assessments, and job safety analyses (JSA) to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Assist in developing and implementing safety procedures, SOPs, and emergency response plans. Organize and conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contract workers. Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses, and ensure implementation of corrective actions. Maintain accurate safety records, such as permits, training logs, and incident reports. Ensure proper use of PPE, housekeeping, and safe chemical handling practices across the plant. Support the management during safety audits and coordinate with external agencies (e.g., GPCB, DISH, or local authorities). Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement among the workforce.
