Role: HR Executive (Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations)

Talent acquisition

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job posting to onboarding.
• Develop talent acquisition strategies to attract strong candidates and build a pipeline for recurring roles.
• Conduct screening interviews to assess candidate fit and recommend hires.

Remote team check-ins

• Hold regular one-on-ones with every remote employee (weekly in the first month, then every two weeks or monthly) to ask how work is going, whats blocking them and how things are with the US team.
• Check in with the US team leads monthly to get their feedback too.
• Keep short notes on each person and flag any concerns to management within 48 hours, so issues surface early and not at termination time.

Employee relations and performance

• Be the first point of contact for concerns, conflicts and grievances.
• Track probation timelines and run reviews with documented feedback.
• Handle exits properly: notice, handover, exit interviews and settlements.

HR operations and compliance

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements across the full employee lifecycle.
• Maintain employee records, leave, attendance and payroll inputs.
• Keep contracts, NDAs and the employee handbook up to date.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of HR experience with recruitment exposure, ideally with remote teams.
• Knowledge of Indian labour law and payroll basics.
• Strong communicator, comfortable with honest conversations and confidential information.
