Position: Design Manager Role Overview: TAHPIs India operations is seeking for Design Manager to oversee multiple large-scale healthcare architecture projects (India & International) and guide project teams through planning, concept design, technical detailing, and construction documentation. The role is responsible to ensure all project documentation meets international quality and code standards, coordinate with all sub consultants and disciplines and coordinate with TAHPI global offices for seamless collaboration on shared projects Reporting Relationship: Director Qualifications: Master&aposs/ bachelors degree in architecture from a reputed University/College Council of Architecture registered 15+ years of experience in Architecture, with a strong portfolio in Healthcare Projects Prior experience in leadership or senior management roles within architecture firms Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities Strategic thinking and proven business development expertise Extensive experience in healthcare architectural design, planning and project management Proficiency in Revit (Mandatory) & AutoCAD with strong technical understanding of international documentation standards Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across different geographies Knowledge of Indian and International building codes and healthcare regulations Strong verbal and written communication and client presentation skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and graphic software like Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and InDesign graphic software preferred Ability to lead complex and high-value projects from inception to completion Understanding of allied engineering disciplines such as Civil, MEP, Structural, etc. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Team Management Provide leadership to the India office, ensuring alignment with TAHPIs global vision and standards Lead and mentor a team of Architects and Designers; oversee recruitment, training, and performance Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment Manage resource planning, project staffing, and inter-office coordination Conduct regular team meetings and ensure adherence to project deadlines and quality standards Project Oversight & Technical Direction Oversee multiple large-scale healthcare architecture projects (India & International) Guide project teams through planning, concept design, technical detailing, and construction documentation Ensure all project documentation meets international quality and code standards Supervise project execution to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery Coordinate with TAHPI global offices for seamless collaboration on shared projects Drive design innovation, sustainability, and evidence-based planning in all projects Operational Management Lead the development and implementation of office policies and operational workflows Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and quality assurance standards Manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to Group Directors Prepare reports and updates for global leadership on India office operations and project status Note: The Team lead will serve as the primary point of contact for both local clients and TAHPIs international teams. This role requires a proactive and visionary leader who can balance design leadership, team development, project delivery, and client engagement.
