- Source candidates through job portals, employee referrals, local hiring networks, walk-ins, recruitment agencies, social media, and other relevant channels.
- Screen profiles, conduct initial HR discussions, coordinate interviews, and manage the selection process with hiring managers.
- Ensure timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, from interview scheduling to offer release and joining.
- Track offer acceptance, joining ratios, candidate dropouts, and no-shows; identify reasons for dropouts and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate pre-joining formalities, documentation, and joining confirmations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Maintain a recruitment tracker covering open positions, ageing of vacancies, sourcing channels, interview status, offers, and actual joiners.
- Monitor recruitment turnaround time and hiring costs, and share regular hiring updates with the HR Manager and Operations team.
- Work towards reducing dependency on external agencies by developing sustainable sourcing channels and employee referral initiatives.
2. HR Operations & Generalist Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee onboarding, induction, documentation, and HR orientation for new joiners across stores and Head Office.
- Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and employee master data, ensuring timely updates.
- Support attendance, leave, and employee regularisation processes in coordination with store teams and the HR/Payroll team.
- Assist in payroll inputs, employee data validation, full and final settlement coordination, and employee exit formalities.
- Coordinate employee separations, exit interviews, and documentation while identifying recurring reasons for attrition.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, store-level celebrations, recognition programmes, and team-building activities.
- Work closely with Store Managers to address routine employee queries, workplace concerns, and people-related issues.
- Conduct periodic store visits to understand employee concerns, review HR processes, support onboarding, and strengthen engagement with frontline employees.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to maintain statutory and employment-related documentation and support HR compliance requirements.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports and dashboards covering headcount, attrition, recruitment, attendance, joining trends, and exits.
- Support employee communication, HR initiatives, and other brand-level HR projects as assigned.
