Job Description Systems & Network Administrator Role Systems & Network Administrator Focus Servers, virtualization, cloud, networking and identity across multiple sites 10+ years in systems, network or combined infrastructure roles Remote Experience Location Role Summary Were hiring a Systems & Network Administrator to run the infrastructure behind our clients businesses: servers, storage, virtualization, cloud and networking across several offices. Youll own the VM environment and network day to day, act as the escalation point for infrastructure issues, and work closely with Information Security and the business systems team to keep services reliable and well documented. This is a hands-on role in a small team, where youll be both the strategist and the person who fixes it. What Youll Do Run servers and cloud. Administer Windows and Linux servers, VMware/Hyper-V virtual machines, and Azure and AWS resources, from provisioning and capacity planning to storage allocation and decommissioning. Own backup and disaster recovery. Run backup and DR processes and test restores regularly so recovery works when its needed. Keep systems healthy. Monitor health, performance and availability, and fix problems before they turn into outages. Manage the network. Run and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN (Cisco AnyConnect), DNS, DHCP and switching, including connectivity between multiple domestic and international sites. Keep topology, configurations and access controls documented. Manage identity and access. Administer Active Directory and Group Policy, the full user account lifecycle, and DUO MFA enrollment and troubleshooting. Support onboarding and offboarding from an infrastructure and access standpoint. Patch and change safely. Patch operating systems and firmware on servers and network devices on an agreed schedule, keep change logs, and plan maintenance windows that keep disruption low. Implement firewall and network changes requested by Information Security. Be the escalation point. Handle Tier 2/3 infrastructure tickets and network or VPN access requests from the helpdesk, and cut repeat tickets through monitoring, automation and self-service. Idaya.ai 2026 Page 1

Partner across teams. Support business systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, Propel) where infrastructure affects performance, and give Information Security access, logs and remediation during incidents. Document everything. Maintain environment documentation, runbooks and standard operating procedures. What You Bring 10+ years in systems administration, network administration, or a combined infrastructure role. Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy. Experience running VMware or Hyper-V, and Azure and/or AWS environments. Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, switching and Wi-Fi. Working knowledge of backup and disaster recovery tools and practices. Experience managing infrastructure across multiple physical sites. Strong troubleshooting skills and a habit of documenting what you fix. Comfort in a small IT team where you plan the work and do it yourself. Nice to Have Experience in life sciences, biotech or another regulated environment. Scripting for automation in PowerShell, Bash or Python. Experience with Docker or other containerized environments.
